Suavis is an Italian company, which seeks to support the growth and development of their affiliated businesses by providing sweet specialities made with high-quality raw materials.
Suavis wanted to start generating targeted B2B contacts through social media platforms in order to build potential Ho.Re.Ca partnerships. Before then, the company was solely working with a network of sales agents who was allowing them to reach all areas of Italy.
A necessary alternative to a traditional selling network is a Digital Marketing activity which utilizes at least one communication channel. In this case we thought that working with Instagram and Facebook campaigns would have helped us reach the desired goal.
We chose to work with Lead Generation campaigns positioned on Instagram and Facebook, with a Ho.Re.Ca targeted audience, in order to show our ads exclusively to B2B companies. For the purpose of introducing the offer, some animated photographic contents showing the company’s products and a brief copy have been made.
By carrying out an AB test we found out which platform was the best one to collect data from potential clients. We developed a landing page on Suavis’ website and we set up Instant Forms in Facebook and Instagram campaigns. Here we carefully described the products and the promo, which consisted in a 10% discount on a first purchase. A week after, we noticed that the Instant Forms were producing much superior results . This led us to continue collecting data uniquely from this tool.
Since this was a small budget testing campaign we thought it would have been better not to automate the communication with potential clients. That’s why all collected data were sent to Suavis’ sales agents who were in charge of contacting them.
